Unabridged Dune Audios

Our Dune prequel novels, as well as HUNTERS OF DUNE, have been very successful as unabridged audios. Scott Brick has narrated most of them. His work on THE BUTLERIAN JIHAD won the prestigious Audie Award, and THE MACHINE CRUSADE was also nominated for an Audie. He will be reading SANDWORMS next year.

We've been working for quite some time to get all of Frank Herbert's original DUNE Chronicles re-released as unabridged audios, with new productions. Now we can finally announce good news.

DUNE, DUNE MESSIAH, CHILDREN OF DUNE, GOD EMPEROR OF DUNE, HERETICS OF DUNE, and CHAPTERHOUSE: DUNE will be reissued by Audio Renaissance (the audio publisher of the Butlerian Jihad trilogy, ROAD TO DUNE and HUNTERS OF DUNE). Current plans are that DUNE will be released in Summer 2007, coinciding with the release of SANDWORMS OF DUNE, and then Audio Renaissance plans to issue a title each quarter (i.e. Fall 2007, Winter 07-08, Spring 2008, etc.) until all six titles have been released.

This is a great way to reread Frank Herbert's originals if you haven't done so in a long time, or to finish the series if you haven't completed the Chronicles.
