More Dune Milestones

Frank Herbert’s original Dune series continues to reach new audiences and see an increased readership with new releases. Sparked by the international popularity of the new Dune novels written by my father and Kevin J. Anderson, Penguin is reissuing the original Dune Chronicles in fine hardcover editions (with added material by my father). The second volume, DUNE MESSIAH, has just been released -- the first time this book has been commercially available in hardcover since its original publication almost forty years ago. CHILDREN OF DUNE is due to come out in hardcover later this year.

Macmillan Audio is also producing excellent new unabridged audio editions of the original Dune Chronicles. DUNE, DUNE MESSIAH, and CHILDREN OF DUNE are already available. GOD EMPEROR OF DUNE will be released in May, and HERETICS OF DUNE is due out in October, with CHAPTERHOUSE: DUNE to follow.

The scheduled release date for PAUL OF DUNE, by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson, is September 2008.
