The Fan Club

The 35th issue of the newsletter for AnderZone, the Official Kevin J. Anderson Fan Club, has just been printed and distributed. The fan club has been around for over nine years and has more than 4000 members. Since this was started even before HOUSE ATREIDES was published, the fan club covers all of my work, for all the fans, but because such a large portion of my writing and promotion is all about DUNE, you'll find a significant portion of each issue devoted to DUNE matters.

If you would like to be placed on the mailing list, it's free and the club sends you a hardcopy of the newsletter. (If you don't want to be on the list, you can always download each issue from the wordfire.com website.)

Why would you want to give somebody your street address? One of the benefits of having your name on our mailing list is that whenever Brian or myself does a book signing or convention appearance, we will call up all the names in the vicinity of the appearance and send you a postcard to let you know we'll be in your neighborhood. Bookstores don't always do a lot of promotion, and you might not catch our appearance on the website listing; this way you'll get an easy reminder, if you want to come and get your DUNE books signed. Also, we send out collectible postcards, bookmarks, bookplates, sometimes even chapbooks to the people on the physical mailing list.
