New Dune Discussion Board

As a new feature to the dunenovels.com website, we are pleased to introduce the new, official Dune discussion board, where true fans of the greatest science fiction universe can gather to discuss their favorite topics.

I can't tell you how many letters we've received from fans irate about the other available Dune discussion boards which have been co-opted by the "surly gang that hates everything." For many months people have asked us to set up a discussion group here on the official Dune website so they could have lively and meaningful discussions without vitriolic and unmoderated attacks by so-called fans who don't seem to like anything about Dune.

The dunenovels.com board is now open for an exchange of ideas, whether about Frank Herbert's original Dune Chronicles, THE ROAD TO DUNE, our new Dune novels, the David Lynch movie, the two Sci-Fi Channel miniseries, Frank Herbert's classic works finally coming back into print, or other Dune-related topics. Readers of this blog certainly know there has been a great deal of news in recent months.

The discussion group will be moderated by Frank Herbert's grandson Byron Merritt. He's already written and posted a set of rules for civilized behavior. Read them. Then join in the discussion.
