Slan Hunter Released 

Tor Books has just released the hardcover of SLAN HUNTER, the completion of A.E. van Vogt's sequel to his Golden Age SF classic, SLAN. The Associated Press is planning to run an extensive story on the project; they've already interviewed me, Lydia van Vogt, the book's editor David Hartwell, and Harlan Ellison (who was one of van Vogt's proteges). The original novel SLAN has also just been reissued in trade paperback, with a new introduction that I wrote for the edition.

As a sneak preview, I'm attaching chapter 1. I hope you enjoy a return to classic pulp science fiction.
